"If we want children to flourish, to become truly empowered, let us allow them to love the Earth before we ask them to save it."
- David Sobel -
Allowing youth to enjoy and appreciate nature is a core element to fostering their interest in the environment and its protection. Going to outdoor summer camps, joining environmental clubs in high school, or applying for "green" internships in college. All of these opportunities are a part of environmental education. Yellowwood Youth seeks to promote programs that encourage environmental education for youth.
